Before using Argonauts, please read this

Welcome to ARgonauts!

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our services, except where we expressly state that separate terms (and not these) apply, and provide information about the Argonauts Service (the "Service"), outlined below. Any information, text, links, photos, videos, illustrations or any 2D images, 3D models with or without animations, music, audio, text, files, other materials, or arrangements of materials uploaded, downloaded, or appearing on the Services (collectively referred to as “Content”). When you create an Argonauts account or use Argonauts, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who may use Argonauts?

   You may use the Service only if you agree to form a binding contract with Argonauts. You must be at least 13 years old, or in the case of Periscope 16 years old, to use Argonauts. If you are accepting these Terms and using the Service on behalf of a company, organization, government, or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to do so and have the authority to bind such entity to these Terms, in which case the words “you” and “your” as used in these Terms shall refer to such entity.

2. How do you handle privacy?

   We may need some of your information to be able to use our Service. The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information. You understand that through your use of the Service you consent to the collection and use of this information. It also explains the many ways you can control your information.

3. What kind of content can I provide?

   You are responsible for your use of the Service and for any Content you provide including compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. You can't do anything unlawful, misleading, fraudulent, offensive, pornographic, dangerous, vulgar, inappropriate, or for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

   We reserve the right to remove Content that violates the User Agreement, including, for example, copyright or trademark violations or other intellectual property misappropriation, impersonation, unlawful conduct, or harassment.

4. What kind of permission that I granted to you?

   You also give us permission that we need to provide the Service.

   1. We do not claim ownership of your content, you grant us to use it. You retain your rights to any Content you submit, post, or display on or through the Service. What’s yours is yours — you own your Content. However, we need certain legal permissions from you (known as a "license") to provide the Service. When you share, post, or upload Content that is covered by intellectual property rights on or in connection with our Service, you hereby grant to us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable. You agree that such Content will not contain material subject to copyright or other proprietary rights unless you have necessary permission or are otherwise legally entitled to use the material and to grant Argonauts the license described above.
   2. This license will end when your Content is deleted from our systems. You can delete Content individually or all at once by deleting your account.

5. What about your content?

   Octagon Studio owns all the Argonauts Content copyrights in the Service and its Content, for example, our free-to-use Dinosaur assets, Argonauts is the owner of those copyright. Your use of the service does not give you any ownership over Argonauts Content, we just giving you a permission and non-exclusive license to use it. However, if you have your own Content to upload to Argonauts, you are the owner of that Content as we mentioned above.

6. Content Removal or Disabling Your Account

   We can remove any Content or information that violates the Terms of Use, including for example, copyright or trademark violations or other intellectual property misappropriation, impersonation, unlawful conduct, or harassment. We can refuse to provide or stop providing all or part of the Service to you immediately to protect our services and community, or if you create risk or legal exposure for us, violate these Terms of Use or our policies, if you repeatedly infringe other people's intellectual property rights, or where we are permitted or required to do so by law.

7. How Can I Report Violations of Intellectual Property Rights?

   If you believe that your Content has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, we will process and investigate suspected violations and will take action based on applicable intellectual property laws.

   Argonauts will respond to reports of alleged copyright infringement, such as allegations concerning the unauthorized use of copyrighted 3D assets, illustrations, drawings, or any other 2D assets, or allegations concerning the unauthorized use of a copyrighted video or image uploaded through our Service.

8. Who is responsible if something happens?

   We can't guarantee that it will be safe and secure all the time. We don't control what people and others do or say, and we aren't responsible for their (or your) actions or conduct (whether online or offline) or content (including unlawful or objectionable content). We also aren't responsible for services and features offered by other people or companies, even if you access them through our Service. You are responsible for safeguarding your account, so use a strong password and limit its use to this account. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with the above.

9. General

   We may change and revise our Service and Policies from time to time, and we may need to make changes to these Terms so that they accurately reflect our Service and Policies. In the event that any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, then that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect.
